Section 2 of the law "establishes in the executive branch a commission on evident-based policy making." This piece of legislation was passed by the House and the Senate which constitutionally made it a law on 3/20/2016.
H.R.5394 (law) 108th Congress (2003-2004): This law was called the "To Amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to modify the taxation of arrow components", and the law was cosponsored by Jim Matheson (R). One of the key points of this law is, "impose a tax equal to 39 cents per arrow shaft on the first sale of such shaft, with inflation adjustments on such 39 cent-amount after 2005." This piece of legislation was passed by the House and the Senate to make it a legal law on 12/12/2003.
Paul Ryan has sponsored 109 pieces of legislation throughout his career and these pieces of legislation were a mix between laws, bills, and resolutions. The two examples of laws shown are two of three laws Paul Ryan has passed since he has been in Congress.

Political Sphere:
Paul Ryan was unanimously re-elected for another term as the Speaker of the House by the Republican Party. After he was re-elected, Paul Ryan called for the Republican Party to unite behind the then President-elect Donald Trump. This is ironic because Ryan was against Trump during his campaign and did not see him fit to be President. Paul Ryan decided to set aside his differences with Trump and unite behind him in order to benefit the American people. Currently Paul Ryan is facing the same challenges former Speaker of the House John Boehner faced, in trying to unite the divided Republican Party, but he has not faced the same rebellion Boehner faced.
